June heralds the beginning of summer, a month of long sunny days (well, fingers crossed), of lazy days spent outdoors and enjoying delicious fresh food. Here at Blake's we're bringing the sunshine to our seasonal menu with some show stoppers emerging from our bakery and kitchen teams.

Congratulations to Emily on passing her Leiths School of Food And Wine Chefs Skills in Patisserie. Emily joined the Blake’s team back in April 2022 as a Kitchen Assistant and has already progressed to being an excellent baker. Any customers that attended our Mother’s Day afternoon tea will have tasted Emily’s Opera cake and I’m sure will agree we have quite a talent on our hands! Investing in the development of our team is so important to us.
