Our Kitchen Diary this month begins with a note of thanks, to all of you who came along to our Mother's Day Afternoon Tea this past weekend - we really enjoyed hosting this and our thoughts have already turned to planning an equally good event for Father’s Day.
We now look forward to Easter in just a couple of weeks time which brings to mind three things: chocolate eggs, hot cross buns and the four-day weekend...
Easter Advance orders
We've added some cracking Easter specials to the Advance Orders shop - order your provisions now for the Easter Weekend including Sourdough, Scotch Eggs (sweet or savoury!) and Hot Cross Buns.
Look out for our Creme Egg Scotch Egg ~ a Cadbury Creme Egg covered in our handmade Chocolate Guinness Cake mixed with caramel, dipped in chocolate and coated in chocolate cornflakes.
If you're hoping to collect over Easter weekend, Clanfield will be open Good Friday, Saturday & Easter Monday 08.30 - 16.00 (closed Easter Sunday).
Blake’s Soho farmhouse
New Spring Menu
Our new Spring menu is now available down on the Farm Yard at Blake's Kitchen Soho Farmhouse. Members can join us for a mouth-watering selection of seasonal dishes like Potato Pancakes with Smoked Salmon, Poached Egg, Lemon & Caper Salsa and Crème Fraîche... (No gluten-containing ingredients were harmed in the making of this dish).
Hagen x blake’s
Our partnership with Hagen - a Danish coffee project born out of Copenhagen and founded in London - continues to brew along nicely. Visitors to Hagen's London Espresso Bars will find our special Cinnamon Bun collaborations (if you're quick that is - they're as popular in the capital as they are in Clanfield!)
Future plans for the partnership include a special Rye Bread collaboration that will only be available in selected Hagen stores and our bakery in Clanfield (more on that soon). We'll also be launching some of our customer favourite cakes including our plant-based Chocolate Brownies & our Banana & Date loaf in Hagen's new Hampstead espresso bar.
